GUEST LECTURE for STD XII BIO Students

Deapartment of biology Vana Vani school organized a guest lecture for 12 standard biology students on 17/07/2019. Professors from the Department of Experimental medicine of Dr. MGR Medical University were invited for the lecture. The speakers were Dr. S. Mini Jacob, Dr. K. Siva Sangeetha, Dr. K. Mary Sushi and Mr. thatchinamoorthy explanied about the common seasonal diseases like dengue, malaria, Typhoid, Tuberculosies and AIDS.

Students were explained about the methods of production and prevention with the help of a video show on causitive organism and their mode of transmission. At the end of lecture students were allowed to ask questions and their doubts were cleared. Overall it was a very sure to motivate the students to pursue higher studies in Biology.
